You have my sympathy on the loss of your beloved kitty.

It's never too soon.

A new kitty won't stop you from missing the lost one, and no cat will ever replace the one that's gone. But a new kitty will make a place of its own in your heart and bring you great happiness in this time of such sorrow.

I was devastated when my beloved Rusty died suddenly last spring. I knew I'd adopt again, but I ddn't think I'd be ready for a while. Then Rusty's doctor called me about a feral rescue that someone had brought to her clinic with an eye injury...

Rusty was barely gone a week when I adopted Scamper. I wasn't ready. I'm still not "ready." I'm still broken up about Rusty's death and it will be along time before the pain starts to fade. I miss him every minute of every day. But Scamper has brought me great happiness and joy.

Adopting Scamper showed me that it's possible to be terribly sad about something and very happy about something else all at the same time. It's complex, but it's a lot better than just being sad!

Your question shows that you need another kitty, and there are plenty of kitties that need you. I think it's time for you to start visiting your local shelters.

And, what do you do if that Geico coverage does not cover the guy that develop into using? you need to be SOL - whether you get the judgement, you will possibly no longer have the skill to collect any funds. good success.

sorry to hear about her passing. there was another couple of answers that were right on target. only you will know when the time is right to get another kitten. go to your local shelter, just to look. you never know what you might find. don't be surprised if some kitten comes up to you. they can feel your grief. a new kitten won't replace paris, but it can help you fight the depression.

yea, I wouldn't recomend you ever get a new kitty if your letting your cat outside to get hit by a car. poor kitty I feel so bad that your cat had to die an aganizing death like that and I feel bad for the person who hit her, that had to be pretty tramatizing for that person.
