I am in the market for an xd .45. I am sold on the pistol after shooting one, I would like to find some online retailers where I could puchase one. I had a local dealer quote for $545 plus tax, I feel like I can find one online for less including S&H and FFL fees.

I just checked the wholesale price and will say $545 is not bad at all. You can check around and I'll doubt if you save more than $20 off that price anywhere. With shipping plus transfer, you will pay more.
My advice is go ahead and buy from your local shop, even if it's a few bucks more. Especially if the shop is friendly and offers good advice and services. You will not get any of that from a mail order dealer and isn't it nice having that guy around when you need him?

I've seen them at impactguns.com for the same general price. They come with a case, 2 mags and a holster. I have a dealer in FL that will beat their prices if you're in the area.
