Your not paranoid your a good parent. I always monitored my babies its so that u can tend to there needs as soon as they wake.

Its fine to monitor your baby, as long as you dont stiffle their emotional growth.. instead of sitting by or holding them while they nap.. get a monitor.. you know the one you put in the room and you can hear them.. this is the best way to let the baby know that its ok when youre not there...you re doing a good job though
