me and my boyfriend broke up and a week later he was back with his baby's mother. we both work together and it's hard not speaking to each other. he claims that he want's us to get back together and that the reason were not back together is because i as talking to other people at the time. he doesn't wana break up with his baby mama because he doesn't want to hurt her. should i wait for him? in hopes that he'll leave her soon or should i call it a loss and move on?

In my opinion, move on. It sounds like he's stringing you along. If this guy really wants you, he'll break up with his baby mama, even "if he doesn't want to hurt her". That's one of the oldest lines in the book.
Now don't stop speaking to him, but keep the conversations more ont he friend and co-worker level. If he wants you, he'll do anything to get, and if he won't, then he don't want you that bad.
