Hi I'm 16 years old, 5'7 and about 150 pounds. I watch what I eat, and I strength train ever so often. I'm not fat but I'm trying lose the flab off my stomach because I can see a 4 pack, and I know I have the last 2 but they aren't showing *_*

There are very very steep hills around my neighborhood. Should I just speed walk up those? Do you think that will help me lose weight?

Honestly I'd say they're both effective. Running will be more intense and a shorter workout for the same calorie output. Speed walking is easier on the joints. However, don't count them the same timewise - a 20 minute run is not the same as a 20 minute walk.

When I'm running, especially when starting out, I usually speed walk up hard hills until I get used to it.

Sure, if you walk or run up a hill, it would be good for you. Just be sure you're conditioned enough for it.

Good luck!
