This guy who I danced with last year at one of my school dances and who I asked to our Homecoming last year [in the fall] but I never got to go with him because he was already asked seems to be staring at me everytime I walk by him or when I'm near him. I've never actually had a conversation with him before so I'm gettting the feeling that he might want to talk to me but is too shy to. So maybe that's why he keeps looking at me? I don't know how to approach him one of the times I walk by him even though I really want to talk to him because he's been my crush since Freshmen year. Any ideas?

Shy guys are that way, so you will the one to make all the moves. Start making him more comfortable around you before you do anything dramatic. Just say hi and smile at him when he stares at you and try to have short conversations whenever you can. He may blush or not be very responsive, but he likes it.

Why dont you have a small get together like if you or your friends know any of his friends. Then there's a crowd for not too much pressure on the both of you and its not too overcrowded for you guys to be too distant. Good Luck

I'd try and get a small group of friends together at somewhere that's not too scary for a guy to show up at, and invite him along. Keep it casual, then try and talk to him when he's there.

y wont, hows it goin. wrk as a conversation starter. or even better if you know he does a sport say you saw him and that he whooped *** er sumthin (make sure he actually plays too, just cause ur on the team doesnt mean tha you do anything)

ok u know....may be u can just go to him and start talking to him not just go straigh and say do u like me.. i think he likes you but still its not a good start. try to make him a friend and if he actully becomes your friend then surely he is interested in you and after that just write him a card that u like him if u cant really speak front of him.

i think you should just start talking to him, tell him he looks nice, etc. you shouldn't go strait up to him n ask if he likes you. not yet... he might be too shy. ater you hang out with him a while, he might get the guts to ask you out, or you could ask him then.
