Yeah, right. It's a big conspiracy concocted by the 96% of eminent American scientists who are atheists.

Or it could be that they are extremely intelligent, highly ethical, and intellectually responsible. I think they have better things to do with their time than worry about what kind of emotional effect their discoveries will have upon Christians.

The fact that the more science explains, the less religion explains is just a bonus. Maybe it's because it is they who really do seek "the truth".

The difference between Scientists and Christians is that, when a scientist states a theory, they are willing to accept that fact that their theory might be flawed or false.
A Christian will not accept the possibility that their belief might be incorrect.
Scientists don't ever make stuff up. They often propose theories, and some of those theories are proven wrong by research. But that is different from 'making stuff up'

Don't blame the scientists for your close-minded, blind faith the something you cannot even see, touch, hear or feel.

Um sure... like scientists, educated men and women, have nothing better to do with their time than think up ways to attack Christianity.

I've always had a theory that people who think everyone is always lying are most likely big liars themselves and they project their pathology on others.

I maintain that anyone (Christians?) who thinks that scientists are making up stuff to attack Christianity must be Christians who are actually making stuff up to attack non-believers.

Seriously, scientists are too busy with REAL FACTUAL issues to bother fabricating facts just to mess with Christians.

No, and honestly it is a good question regardless of what some say because grudges last a loong time, and the Christians did thrash out against Science.

Science is disproving the bible, some believe, more than ever in this day because it is using mathematical methods to explain what occurs as such. If you allow science to, it will work along side religion, as many believe they go hand in hand, and come to your true understanding.

Do not believe science is evil though, because it is truly helping you. Its purpose is knowledge, it is looking for the truth as religion is. It follows patterns, and numbers. That is why it has become a religion. Allow yourself to seek these answers, and you will to understand how it is working for understanding, as religion does as well. In its own field, not out to harm.

Not intentionally, in many cases. Some scientists assemble the data in such a way so as to disprove christianity. A twist here and a twist there and you have a conclusion to justify any position you want.

The bible says that all men are liars.

No, scientists have to go through a peer review process, where scientists assess each other's work for the veritability of results and whether the results are able to be replicated. Scientists risk their necks if they try to make things up, that and tons of grant money, why take the chance?

Sure, scientists have nothing better to do than waste their time disproving the inherently unbelievable. Right.
Cancer, birth defects, chronic illness, AIDS, and saving the planet from our own stupidity are a little more important. It's typical of the self-absorbed, self-congratulatory, self-flattering nature of the religious to come up with a question like this.
Time to grow up and join the rest of us in the 21st century.

Yes. The theory of evolution is riddled with made up stuff. The worst part is either they don't know or they don't care. The time is coming when a lot of the old skeletons that have been hidden away will be brought to light.

No but some atheists seem to!

When scientists publish something they usually qualify it, give references to other works and never make brash claims.

When Atheists report it, it's aways SCIENCE HAS PROVED when all the guy really said is "we found this or discovered that and think it suggests a correlations to this..."

scientists have a job to do....sometimes they like the lime light and are imperfect like you and I My concern is not to be judged by man standards....lose most of the time...
Use a higher standard. Great standards are given to us in many books...so many great sayings are based on the Bible and really work. God does make fools out of mens ways and thoughts...Science is one area that shows great creation but no credit to the maker ...that is foolish
If you built a beautiful home would everyone know you were the builder eventually? It is the same...they will have to know Jehovah built all things and will get the glory.

Yes they are. Now they are coming out with this thing they are calling gravity. That is clearly something they took from an apple falling on someones head back in the dark ages. It is just designed to momentarily confuse Christians allowing them to slip in the Big bang, string theory and evolution. As ever alert Christians must keep on the lookout for such nonsense. We only need one text in our school the Holy Bible. That's all we need for now and for ever.
