Unique ways of asking a girl to prom?

ok so prom is sort of far away... but i want to get a jump on it early, so i was thinking of asking a girl in a kinda Unique way.... for those of you who know the song "back at one" bye brian mcknight... i was planning on leaving a note for her in her locker with chocolates saying "1 your like a dream come true" then write on her car saying "2 just want to be with you" with a Stuffed bear.... then i wanted to be on her doorstep with flowers that night with the last note saying "3 girl it's plain to see that you should go to prom with me"..... how does that sound?? and if any of you guys or gals have some suggestions on unique ways of asking... feel free to add!!! thanks a bunch

well. this is what a guy did when he asked me to prom.
He didn't go to my school, so it was really cute.
He got my schedule from the office and delivered special presents to every one of my classes. drop it off so the teacher can give it to her!
for example.
first period he had a photograph of us the year we met. and behind it he wrote a word "would"
second period he delievered the watch i gave him for his birthday. attached with a word "you"
third period he had a pooh bear doll collection with the word "go" on top of it
fourth period he had a pair of nikes (custom made . & because i have an obsession with nikes) with the word " to"
fifth period came and he had the words "dear brenda, PROM" with a rose attached on the board
sixth period came and he left my favorite candies on my desk and put "with" on them.
last period came. and there was a card that said " meet me at the football stadium"
so afterschool i went.
and it was him, everyone from school ( they happened to find out), in a tux with flowers in his hands.
and he asked me to prom. it was the sweetest thing ever!

A way i used which worked really well (she and all of her friends were all freaking out at how cute they thought it was) is get a post board and some glue and get a big bag of hersheys kisses (can be substituted with whatever her favorite candy is if you know it, other wise kisses are a good call) and spell out "Prom?" with the candy glued to the poster board. Then, write with a mark or again with kisses if you have enough "Because you're sweeter than all of this candy combined." Then just give it to her or have one of her friends deliver in which case you should put your name and number down so she can say yes.

I saw this on TV once:

Put two dolls in her locker (one to resemble you, the other to resemble her). On your doll, attach a note saying "Will you go to the prom with me?" When class ends walk with her until she gets to her locker and wait. She'll open her locker, discover the card, and hopefully will say yes!

Another thing you could do (it might be a little cheesy) is get a jewlery box and put a card that says "Will you go to the prom with me?". Then when you two are alone, get on your knees and say something like "(girl's name), and you are one of the kindest, most beautiful girls I have ever met." open the box and then say "Will you...will you go to the prom with me?"

I'm impressed when a guy has just worked up the courage to ask me out. Guys fear rejection, it's a huge strain on their ego to be rejected, so that says alot about how he feels just taking that chance to ask me.
Your idea is sweet and thougtful, and very corny, but like I said when a guy risks rejection it shows how he feels.
