Yes, it has to act on the evidence and follow due process. Its not allowed to see all the background and probable connections. Some people are well know to be involved in criminal activity but that does not mean that committed a particular crime. The justice system seeks justice but is limited to following due process, so that it does not become unjust in its own dealings. This is always going to be frustrating but it has to hold up ideals or it will sink into revenge, reprisals and rage. Then all of us stand to becomes victims of our own societal blood lust.

Justice from God is blind. God is not a respecter of persons.
Justice from man is very subjective, however.

I think some laws are wrong like you should be able to do any thing to your own body like smoke pot if you want to without criminal charges.As long as you harm no one else.Or not being able to sue the government unless they say it is o.k.or all the bloody taxes that for things you do not use
