You can't hate something if you don't believe it exists.

"Hate is a way to mask Fear"
I do not believe that Atheists hate God,they profess not to acknowledge His existence... I believe this to be from fear of "knowing" Him and also their personal doubts of their worthiness in His eyes...I have a friend who claimed to be an Atheist, one day we were at my families beach front, laying out in the sun.She and I for some reason touched on the subject of her Atheism, As I was speaking to her in why God should exist ,why she should perhaps reconsider her thoughts in the matter...She said suddenly to me "O.K.,I think that you might have something there" I was stunned,"what?" "You finally understand what I am trying to tell you?" She shook her head, pointed to the sky behind me (which, remember ,I mentioned previously we were sun-tanning that day... not a cloud in the sky ..."and she said "look"...I turned around and looked up ,directly above my position there was a single cloud in the sky ,it was a perfect image of the Cross +...
I guess that no matter how one feels about the subject if He wants you to believe ... You will.

Atheists do not hate what they do not believe to exist.

I think the underlying question you may have is: why do some christians need to believe that atheists hate their god?

Could it be that some christians need some simple reason to ignore cogent arguments that atheists present? Is this a really nothing more than a christian defense mechanism?

They think he doesn't excist...I beleive he does...of course depends on which God your talking about..I'm talking about Father,Spirit, Son (three in one) Heres a fact- If you wouldn't excist neither would he.. But since you do cuz he made you, he does excist..You people need to look around a little more.. Evolution is a theory not a fact...But since the things outside are seen with your eyes that means that there is a creator that made those eyes...Evolution cannot make so much special people like you...And unique in there own way!

Atheists don't hate God at all. How can one hate something that doesn't exist.

Most atheists though do have little tolerance for ignorance.

Try this question:

How much do you hate Santa Claus?

You don't believe in Santa, do you?

So, you probably find Santa hard to hate.

That's pretty much the same with atheists. They don't believe in God, so they don't hate God.

Easy, isn't it?

To hate something you must first believe in it's existence. Atheists do not believe God exists, therefore feel hate nor love nor contempt.

My, what a REVELATION!

We can't hate God. We don't believe in God.

We don't even hate the concept of God (for the most part).

We hate having the concept of God force-fed to us and we hate all the atrocities that happened in God's name.
