Luke 16:22-31 would seem to indicate the answer is: Yes, they will remember their earthly life, and therefore will realize they did not have to perish.
Perhaps this will be their greatest agony.

He paid an poor suffering value so which you would be able to no longer bypass to hell if only you're able to settle for His loose present of eternal salvation by using accepting Jesus as your savior via faith in Him only.Timothy 2:4 " Who might have all adult men to be saved, and to return unto the understanding of the certainty." 2 Peter 3:9 " The Lord isn't slack touching directly to his promise, as some adult men count selection slackness; yet is longsuffering to us-ward, no longer prepared that any could perish, yet that each and every physique can come to repentance."

After the judgment and the resurrection of the dead those whose names aren't written in the book of life will experience the second death. They will remember forever every negative thing that ever happened and gnaw on their tongues and perpetuate their sin. They will howl for the misery that they continue in because they can't stop doing the same thing that got them there. They are in hell now only they have a chance to repent as long as today is called today, in that day when they are still alive and can repent. Today truly IS the day of salvation as long as someone is still alive to accept it. It is a joyous thing to know that there is still time for those who will repent and believe. God has promised to wipe away all our tears.

Yes.

HELL IN KJV
One Hebrew word “sheol” is rendered hell. Definition; hades or the world of the dead (as if a subterranian retreat), grave, hell, pit. Three Greek words are rendered hell; geenna, hades, and tartaroo. Definition of geenna; a valley of Jerusalem, used (figuratively) as a name for the place (or state) of everlasting punishment: - hell. Definition of hades; properly unseen, that is, “Hades” or the place (state) of departed souls: - grave, hell. Definition of tartaroo; (the deepest abyss of Hades); to incarcerate in eternal torment: - cast down to hell. Tartaroo is used only one place II Pet.2:4.
Christ teaching the Pharisees in Luke 16:19-31 shows us a separation from God is truly what hell is. The “water” is symbolic for God’s Spirit and love. The word “tormented” means distressed in the Greek, not torture. The “fire” is symbolic for the shame and desire not to be separated from God.
So all who die the first death of the flesh return to God Ecc.12:6-7, but on which side of the gulf do they end up?
Hell is not eternal but is done away with in Rev.20:14-15, called both the second death and lake of fire. This second death is non-existence, for death and hell and those not written in the book of life. This second death or lake of fire is like fat drippings that fall into the fire. Just a poof of smoke into non-existence.
Psa.37:20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
In my mind what’s worse yet is no memory of you, no tears will be shed for you like you never existed.
Rev.21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
So hell is a separation from God and is not eternal torture or burning. Eventually hell will be done away with or passed away and also some souls. Like fat drippings in the fire, a poof of smoke into non-existence, the second death.

after False religion got its roots from Babylon this teaching grew with the help of the clergy...it is not a Bible teaching! Because they serve the Devils purpose to lead people away from God...false religions dominates the world scene...hence The current ruler of the world is Satan...as regards the major of teaching and theory presented as Church dogma...hellfire with eternal torment is from Satan not God....Hell (Sheol) common grave all mean dust...from which one has to be remade or rest forever in nothing ness...not conscience of anything...no brain or physical being ...God sent Adam back to the ground from where he made him...dead forever

I don't feel any importance in being saved or worrying about hell. Both experiences are subjective. I saved myself when I got my head out of the book. Thinking that the book would heal me it didn't. It wasted so much time to actually take care of problems on my own. And hell isn't so bad. I've been through it a few times but I survived.

Yes, and hell is a condition. You mean the people that go to the lake of fire.

There is no hell and there is no Jesus. Since you believe otherwise, perhaps it would be wise of you to provide some kind of proof other than your fictional holy book.

Hell doesn't exist, thank you. It was made up to scare people into religion, and you're living proof it works.
