Well now perhaps you should familiarize yourself with the cyanide vein that UNICEF accidentally put a well into in Africa in the 70's, that was just a mistake baby, apologies were handed out family's may or may not have been reimbursed, But it brought the plight of Africa into the media like the take down of the twin towers any publicity is good publicity I always say!

I am sure that there are many contributing factors, however the Bush administration has cut back on the inspections for many area's of our food supply to help to support this idiotic war. That is probably number one. I am also sure that illegal aliens are part of the problem.

It is directly affected by that as well as businesses finding under-handed ways of avoiding responsibility for their practices. They've lowered standards all around in order to meet with "global" business. If this government stresses how safe it is........I'm running in the other direction. We have been "compromising" our standards for too long...........I personally don't feel safe eating out anymore. I don't "trust" our hormone injected meats or our "genetically engineered" produce.

most diseases, common ones such as e-coli are naturally found in soil. they get to people through vegetables and farm animals. its absurd to say that people handling the food are the source.
