well, green donkey, it's currently 2 degrees outside. I'm not overweight now, but find this a better option than taking a walk in this weather...no doubt I'd be 500lbs if spring decided not to come. Answers may suck, but this weather sucks worse. Thin does not necessarily mean healthy...

No, I don't think so. I love this sight, a lot of smart people on it. I am retired and I walk on the treadmill and gazelle daily, one or the other. I walk 4.5 miles a day for an hour at a time, ID also had lap-band surgery in Oct. 2006, and I do pilate exercises. I do this stuff early in the day. I do walk a good speedtoo.

My cholesterol and blood pressure are in normal ranges, my waist is smaller than 35 inches, I work out on an elliptical machine and do strength training three times a week, and my diet is mostly fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean meats, with the occasional treat and plenty of water.

I used to be out of shape, but I made small changes on a regular basis to get to this point and feel great. I highly recommend it. And remember, the number on the scale doesn't equal good health.

Yes, because we spend more time on the computer doing useless things with our lives rather than making ourselves useful and going outside, to the gym, or just doing something else productive, other than trying to win points by helping people with their questions. So go out and lose weight.

Depends. If by "people like us" you mean all visitors to Yahoo Answers in general, then I suppose yes, many are probably out of shape. I think a lot of the people who participate in this specific category in Yahoo Answers are probably in decent shape!. We all need to do something about the annoying "Am I fat?" questions that show up frequently in this category though. I refuse to answer those on general principle.

Not really. I am perfectly in shape and I love to work out on the treadmill. I do spend alot of my time on the computer though. * Computer Freak * as I call myself.

Yes. I've gained 20 pounds since I found Yahoo's Q&A's. But my friends tell me I look better. They say I was underweight before. I was 108 at 5.6. Now I'm about 130 lbs. I better not keep it up though. LOL

Probably. There are a number of other things I should be doing, but I just don't feel like it. After a long day of having to concentrate I just feel like coming here and looking at nonsense.
