Why do women have sex with men they don't like/respect and not with the men they do like/respect?

There are a few similar questions here tonight but the angle I'm coming from is based on some stuff I've been reading about in relation to that whole good girl goes after bad boy type to try and understand why. Many articles I've read state that women don't respect or even like these guys that they are sleeping with and the ones they do like they won't sleep with because they are do good for them to treat them like that.

There are many things I admire about women, but I admire them as individuals rather than because they are women. I treat men the same way. I applaud female athletes, especially the astonishing girl who recently pitched a no-hitter to an all boy baseball team. I admire my female friends for their intelligence and their achievements, and for their integrity - one friend worked for the defense industry and then realized it was not compatible with ner new values so she completely stopped being an electrical engineer. But if you think that women as a group have more integrity than men, I would say this: Girls are more obedient than boys, and women are more inclined to follow the rules. I can't call this integrity, I call it conformity. We all have to conform to some degree, so this is not an insult. I would say guys are much more likely to take risks, but there are risk takers among women too. Do I admire women's ability to make money? I don't admire anyone's ability to make money. It's not insignificant, it just isn't something I think about much. I take strong objection to the suggestion that women are less concerned with superficial displays of value. Women and men are extremely status conscious, as all mammals are. In America that status is tied to success, which often means wealth. Go on the dating websites and check out the women's ads for men. You'll find plenty of them who only want men who make more than $70,000 per year. This is just as insulting as if I advertised that I only wanted women with 44 EEE breasts. I would never do either. They are equally crass. And women are plenty active in the world of crime. If they are not the shooters, they aid and abet and protect the shooters. Women are not angels. And why do women have a greater ability to contribute politically to society? This seems like dream talk. I look at women and men cross-culturally, like an anthropologist. This is the best way to eliminate bias.

the whole attraction to the bad guy thing is rooted in a desire to rebel or a desire to be the "victim" if you will. this way, the girl has less guilt for doing something that is in many societies seen as a faux pas--that is, sex outside of commitment. in some cases this is merely a matter of simple rebellion, but typically, the bad boys are sought out by girls that arent ready for marriage or at least arent looking for it and are just in search of a good time. once marriage becomes the goal theyll move on to the good guys as potential candidates, which is why it takes girls a while to wise up. guys are guilty of this maturity issue as well. just as the plight of the "good guy" exists, so does that of the "good girl." so ultimately this is a simple matter of getting past the desire for immediate satisfaction and realizing the greater satisfaction of something more substantial.

Honestly dude women don't want to mess up anything that they have with you, but yet you are good enough to come too when something is going on in their relationship that is bad, weird.......I know, but let's face it, these are the same women who will get mad at you for doing one thing, then five minutes later they will end up doing the same thing.

Some girls just do it for some attention from guys, like some women dress like a slut to get attention from guys because they feel that's the only kind of attention they can get/deserve.

just the same reason girls (and guys too) complain of never finding a good person, but when they find one they just stay friends

early exposure to sexual situations, and culturally, women compare themselves to each other based on what they've put up with. that and you are too boring, dude. face it.
