My first question would be - why can't you keep them anymore?
Dogs are living, breathing beings, and when we take on a dog, we take them on with the understanding that they will be members of the family, loved, and cared for - not that they are disposable and we can "get rid" of them as soon as we don't want to bother with them anymore, or it is difficult to move, or any of that.
That said - I would first get them to a vet prior to attempting to rehome them. It's easier to rehome a dog that is healthy and current on all shots, especially if it is a grown dog and not a puppy. Most people who will adopt don't want to stare down major vet expenses the second they bring the new dog home, let along have to worry about the dog having something contagious that might affect their other pets.
So get them vet checked and updated on their shots. Then place an ad in the local paper, and contact local dog rescues. Most of the time, rescues are full and will not / can not take your dogs that still have a home, but will do a "courtesy listing" on their website so that your dogs get more exposure to potential adopters.
Charge a reasonable adoption fee and let adopters know up front what they will be getting for their money - tell them about issues your dogs have (both health and behavioral), what training they have, and what you will give adopters along with the dogs (collar, leash, toys, etc.)
Do not lie to potential adopters - if your dog pees on the carpet, tell them. Nobody wants to get an "issue" dog pawned off on them - but people may take them knowing they have issues if you're honest about them.
Do not take them to the shelter. It's not a good environment for any dog, and depending on how old yours are or what health problems they have, they are likely to be euthanized if there is no space for them and nobody wants to adopt them.

Try an animal rescue or the SPCA. Or an ad in the paper. And next time, make sure dogs are acceptable where you live before getting them!!

i suggest not giving it to the pound even if they dont kill it. You should just put ad's on newpaper. Or give to a good friend you can rely on. The reason why you shouldnt give it to the shelter is becasue they have to sleep in the cold in cages and it is very sad.

you advertise and keep them til you find them a good home.
advertise everywhere, radio and papers, and check out each home yourself, don't just hand them over to the first one who comes along. get them neutered ( you can ask for payment and add the cost of this on) so you know you haven't sold them to a crook or puppy mill place

you could give them to a friend. or you could give them to the humane society or a pet shop or put an ad in the paper. i'm sorry you have to give up your dogs. that would be hard for me. why can't a friend just take them? is it because the location you live in?

I had the same problem one time. I just drove to the woods and released mine into their natural environment. They weren't really that cute after they weren't puppies anymore so I figured I'd get rid of them humanely.
