my two years in is in march, i received an field grade article 15 last june but was given a chance to stay in i got busted all the way down to an e1 from e3. what rank do i have to be able to re-enlist, and can waivers be granted by the co to put my re-enlistment through.

Get familiar with AR 600-200. It outlines what can make you ineligible to re enlist. Also, get familiar with promotion criteria. You should be able to make back your rank pretty quick if you stay out of trouble.

What was the Art 15 for must of been bad to lose to stripes. I would guess that the battalion commander has the final say Have you gotten any rank back yet. If not I would say NO, what I would do is go directly into the Active Reserve you probably get active for IRAQ, then maybe you could stay active once you do that
