CONCEPT OF GOD IN OLD TESTAMENT
an exhortation from Moses (pbuh):
"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord"
[The Bible, Deuteronomy 6:4]
"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:"
"Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God."
[The Bible, Exodus 20:3-5]
Christians’ insist on the supposed divinity of Christ (pbuh).
INFACT THER EIS NOT A SINGLE UNEQUIVOCAL STATEMENT IN THE WHOLE BIBLE WHERE JESUS CHRIST(PBUH) HIMSELF SAID"I AM GOD" OR WHERE HE HIMSELF SAID" WORSHIP ME"
(ii) "My Father is greater than all."
[The Bible, John 10:29
(v) "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."
[The Bible, John 5:30]
"Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know."
[The Bible, Acts 2:22]
word trinity is not mentioned in the bible any where atall.

."What was the religion of Moses and Jesus(pbut) and which religion they preached?

Many people have the misconception that Islam came into this world with Muhammad (pbuh) and he was the founder of the religion of Islam.Infact is there since time immemorial. since the day man sat foot on earth. since Adam (pbuh) came to earth.
The word Islam in Arabic means “ submitting your will to Allah(swt)”.means any one who submits his will to Allah is called a Muslim.
Glorious Qur’an in Fatir ch:35 v:24 “there is nto a single nation or a tribe to whom we have not sent a warner or a guid(messenger)”.By name only 25 messengers are mentioned in the Quran(for example Moses,Jesus,Noah,Abrahim,Solom... PBUT ets).Allah says in Ghafil ch:40 v:78 some messengers are mentioned in the Quran and some are not.
According to the Quran all the Prophets came before Muhammad(eg Moses,Noah,Jesus,PBUTA) ,they were meant for a particular group of people and the message they brought was meant for the particular time period.
Allah says in Quran ch:3 v:49 “ Jesus was sent as a messenger to the children of Isreal”
Similar message was given for Moses (pbuh) .Quran says “ Moses was sent only for the children of Isreal).

Similar message is given in the Bible in Gospel of Mathew ch:10 v:5-6 .jesus (pbuh) said “ go ye not into theway of jentile (non jews)enter not into the city of esamaltine but rather go to the house of the lord sheep of isreal.”
Mathew ch:15 v:24 where Jesus(pbuh) said “I have nto been sent but for the lost sheep of isreal .
As the messege given to these prophet was meant for a particular time period therefore Allah(swt) did not find it fit to preserve the revelations(Bible,Torah,Zaboor... Injeel) sent to them.We muslims believe in the Torah and Injeel to be the word of God but we also believe that this present Bible is nto the Injeel revealed to Jesus(pbuh) and the present Torah is not the one revealed to Moses(pbuh) .beacuse there has been a lot of human interpolation and fabrication .Therefore we do not considered the present Bible to be the words of God.
. Jesus(pbuh) never heard this word Chistianity in his life neither did he ever said that he has come to preach ChristianityNeither did its mentioned in the old Testament anywhere that Moses(pbuh) preached Judaism.and as far as the geographics are concerned they were jews because they belong to the tribe of Judah( as people live in England are called English). . Gospel of John ch:5 v:30 that Jesus said “ I can of my self do nothing , as I hear I judge and my judgement is just . as I seek not my will but the will of my father who has sent me”.Any one who says that I seek not my will by the will of God is called Muslim in Arabic( as explained above).therefore Quran rightly says that Jesus along with the other prophets(pbut) was amouslem as all the prophets submitted there will to Allah(swt) the one and only God.
Quranic perspective is very clear that there is no other God but Allah(swt) and all the Messengers came on the face of earth belonged to the same brotherhood of prophet hood.
But since Muhammad (pbuh) is the last messenger as Quran says in Ahzab ch:33 v:
Sabah ch:34 v:28 “ we have sent thee as a universal messenger giving gladtidings to men and warning them against sin most of them , they do not understand.”.
Also Where as regarding Qur’an Allah says “ we are the ones who revealed this book to you and we are the one to protect it “.as Quran is the last and the final revelation Allah has taken the responsibility upon him self to guard it from any interpolation and fabrication(human) as it is the complete guid for ones life .
According to Sir William( one of the strongest critics of Islam) .he said” Quran is the only religious scripture on the face of the earth which has maintain its original form for 1200 years”. He said it 1200 years ago..
Muhammad (pbuh)Mentioned in all the Major Religious Scriptures of the World (hindu,parsi,sikh,budhist,incl... Bible(both old and new testaments).
I will restrain my self to the Bible only .Muhammad Mentioned by Name in Old Testament:songs of solomon ch 5 v 16.
If you read the original text in Hebrew in says “Hikku mummittakim wi kulli Muhammadem zehdudi wi zehdai baina yerushelum”(excuse my Hebrew as its not that good ). Meaning “he is most sweet he is Muhammad he is my friend he is my beloved O daughters of Isreal”

But when you read the English translation of the bible they translate the word” muhammadem” as “ all together lovely “ .for example if some ones name is Mr Black and if you introduce Mr Black to an arab you will nto say that he is Mr sayyah( means black in Arabic) . you will still say Black as it’s a proper noun and stays the same. .the word Muhammad is there .Further its mentioned in Isiah ch:29 v:12
“ when the book will be given to him and when he will be asked to read , he will say that I am not learned”. And we all know that Jesus (pbuh) was learned.
it’s a very well known historical fact that Muhammad(pbuh) was an illiterate man . .therefore this prophesy also fits no one but Muhammad(pbuh).
Muhammad is also prophesised in the New Testament:
John ch:16 v:7 “Nevertheless I shall tell you the truth it is experian for you that I go away, for I go not away the comforter shall not come , for if I depart I shall sent him.
Now in the original Greek manuscript the word used for the comforter is “ paraclitess”which is the corrupted form of the word “ pericilitoss” which means praise worthy or praisen one in English and if you translate in Arabic it means !Ahmad”( which is another alternative name for Muhammad mentioned in Qur’an as mentioned above).
Now if you ask any Christian brother he will say that here the Holly spirit will come . well I remind my Christian brothers and sisters the v no7 . the criteria Jesus(pbuh) has mentioned is that he has to go away for the comforter to come but the Holly spirit Christians are speaking about is already there even before Jesus christ(pbuh) according to the bible.. it was there when Elizabeth gave birth and when Jesus(pbuh) was baptised. therefore the critaria is not met .
So its the same message that started comming from God to mankind in parts via (Adam) to start with . and completed with Muhammad(pbuh)and is Finally given the name" the religion of pease,Islam)
May Peace Mercy and Blessings of Allah(swt) be on all of you

All religions are not the same. They are as different as night and day. The Jewish people still live in the Old Testament. Christians accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God. Muslims believe in Allah which comes from a pagan religion of moon, star and sun worship. This is why they kiss their meteorite when they go to Mecca. It is supposed to capture their sins. So as you can see all religions are not created equal. Christians believe the Old Testament was a lead in to the Messiah, Jesus Christ, thus Christian= Christ like.

Christians....true Christians believe that God is at the top of the Holy Trinity. God the father, then God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God is not dead, but living in everyone as our births into this world are proof he is alive and well. The Holy Trinity is ONE God in Three Divine Persons. Jesus was a Jew...and if you want to take it into a nationality, I'm Italian and German descent...but if the blood of Jesus runs through my veins, then that makes me the happiest person in the world. I know that "He that is in me, is greater than he that is in the world."

1. You can convert to Judaism.

2. Jesus died, not God.

3. Yes, Islam says that only God should be worshipped, but that is what all religions say since "all religions believe in One God..."

Because some religions accept additional God that are false and dont exist such as the Holy Spirit (does anybody really know what he is), Jesus, Various hindu God/esses etc.
There is only one to be worshiped. You just have to sort it all out.
And you dont have to have ISRAELI blood to be Jewish you can convert, they just reject you several times to see if you are sure.
And God doesn die, he is immortal as it says in the Bible several times. And Ilsam is FOUNDED on monotheism, if you believe in a different god, why would you be muslim?

Not all religions believe in One God. The important question is do you believe in God? Have you accepted him as your Lord and Savior and is he the one that is in control of your life.
You need to believe that God came to earth as man, Jesus Christ, he died and rose again. The Holy Spirit is the 3rd part of the Trinity. That's what lives inside of you when you have accepted Christ.

I dont think all religions believe in the same God. but I do believe that when someone prays may it be hindu christian muslim whatever the religion, when he or she prays to God, that God is the one that is listening. If there is God, he is the God of the universe and everyone in it, not only the people who believe in him.

correction..............
To be a Christian, you must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing that He paid for your sins when he died on the cross and ROSE AGAIN 3 days later! He is now sitting at the right hand of the Father in Heaven.

Well congrats you've just left out about over 10,000 religions and focused only on three of the monotheistic variety.

I believe in many different Gods and Goddesses. Guess what? I'm a polytheist, you didn't that that into consideration now did you?

To be a Christian, you have to believe that God loved us enough to come in human flesh and pay our penalty for sin and rose again to show He was God. You tend to forget that part of Christianity.
