I'm a freshman and I have a crush on a junior, but we barely talk becoz we're both shy. What should I do?
Also, what should I do with my arms when I try giving him a hug? Do I just lift them up?
Plz help!

Invite him to a movie that you and your friends are going to. It's easier to start out with a group situation.
If you've already done that, just bite the bullet and ask him if he wants to go bowling with you or something where there is an activity.

ok listen up then if u really like him then go for it but i would advise u to relax and take time on it because when he is out of there u will still be in school and thats when its gonna get tough so this is just the start and ok 1st of all DO NOT BE SHY i said this to millions of people today and it helped alot so plz dont be shy thats the last thing u can be but yeah if u wanna give him a hug then do whatever it takes lol

well i have been in this situation im a freshman too and i have a crush on a junior also. and when i c him in the hall i just kinda like say hi and he speaks back. i mean at first i was scared but i got over it. i decieded to do it. and when i did he spoke back. and i was happy on the inside. well when u give him a hug just like put your arms around his waist. don't pat his back though that is kinda of grandmaish. so i hope i have helped.

come up behind him and wrap ur arms around him. make eye contact and hold ur gaze. call him (leaving a message might be better the first time). relax around him, be yourself, have fun, laugh. talk to him first : ) this will b hard to do since ur shy, but really if you know what ur gonna say then it should work out.

I would try to write him a note...maybe telling him how you feel about him. You wouldn't really be talking strait to him, just on paper. But if that doesn't work you should have on of your friends try to talk to him for you.
