There's so many I don't even need to list them here lol.

If God is so perfect, then why is his book so confusing? Surely he would have made sure that the Bible was top-notch.

After reading it 3 times over, it still doesn't make much sense to me :/

I have been studying the Bible for over 30 years, but there are still things I don't understand. However, the more I go through it, the more I learn. One thing I have learned is that the Bible does not contradict itself. But that comes through much study.

Silhouette, to read the bible once over understanding literarily what it says will take at least a whole year.

If you had done it 3 times, you should be a very committed christian.

By your statement you show a contradiction and you're therefore a liar. If it is contradictory, you wouldn't even have done it 3 times. Do you put your finger into the burning coal 3 times to confirm if you're getting hurt???

Also, where is the contradiction?

I'd rather you spend time on islam to save your own soul then spout crap here.

The Bible is put together where you have to back it up with other parts. When Jesus was on earth he kept going back to the old testament to prove a point. The Bible is put together for deep searching where the people who were against Jesus couldn't just read it, they had to search and research the scriptures to understand it. You also need to pray for the Holy Spirit to come into your life and guide you in your search. If you truly ask him in this will open your eyes to the scriptures. I pray that you can gain this knowledge, I have been studying and have been blessed by this.

God is merely a thoughtform to be blunt...it would be easier just to call him "Nature", and his book is confusing because the writers of his book A: didnt know anything of History but ONLY as the writers saw it and claimed it to be the word of "god" and B: the bible we have today the books of the bible are nothing but a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy..there is nothing original in it and all originals have been lost since the begining of christianity.

That's because the bible isn't the word of god it is a fictional text written by man, to explain natural occurences that in their day and age couldn't be explained by science. For instance couldn't explain rain, the angels are crying, volcanoe errupts you must have mad the gods angry.

So many and yet you failed to name one. Which one bothers you the most? Which one is keeping you from believing? If you actually listed one we could help you. Do not blame God for not making sense when you yourself fail in the attempt.

Most "contradictions" come from improper interpretation by the reader. Good Churches help.

1st this is to inherit God's Kingdom no longer Heaven 2d there's a distinction between homicide and killing. third God is on my own the giver of existence, If he in my view kills people they have been rather undesirable. Genesis 6:5,6 "hence Jehovah observed that the badness of guy grew to become into important in the earth and each inclination of the innovations of his heart grew to become into only undesirable each and all the time. And Jehovah felt regrets that he had made adult adult males in the earth, and he felt harm at his heart." God is fairly only. they did some rather undesirable issues in existence if God felt undesirable for even making guy. a international full of Murderers and rapist taking despite they needed. If God did no longer acts all sturdy people in the earth could have been killed. those have been those praying for help. If God did no longer act that ought to have been incorrect. To enable crime circulate unpunished depraved to run ramped. he's a loving God he could no longer enable that. Neither might you or I and have been imperfect guy.

The reason you think there is contradictions is that you don't understand it. The Bible is not full of contradictions, but if you really think there is send me a Email and I will be glad to respond to you and explain them.

God’s enemies will use scripture as Satan did to tempt Christ.
They will misquote, twist or askew the truth for their agenda.
For example, Isaiah 45:7 to say God created evil.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

A deeper study will always manifest truth.

(create) “bara” in the Hebrew.
The Hebrew Poel Participle of the verb “bara” which, with “evil”, requires the rendering “bring about”.

(evil) “ra, raah” in the Hebrew, is never rendered “sin”.
God brings calamity about as the inevitable consequence of sin.
It is rendered “calamity”.

God brings about calamity because of sin.

Whenever there are so-called contradictions of God’s Word, a deeper study is always required.
This requires time and effort of the individual to delve into the truth of God’s Word.
Also, use your brain and think about it.
God cannot create true love.
True love will only manifest in a being of freewill.
In like manner God cannot create evil or righteousness, but will only manifest in beings of freewill.

The bible is a book written by mankind when we still believed the earth was flat to terrify people into submission. It has nothing at all to do with fact.
