eat lots of fruits and veggies; eat breakfast, and try to cut down on fats and switch to lean white meats with an occasional "bad" food; if you think that you can't have something you will obsess more about it; so go ahead and eat the candy bar at noon; but after that make sure to eat healthier the rest of the day. and pilates and yoga are great way to kick off a workout routine; they don't burn you out like straight up gung ho cardio or aerobic workouts do; ease into those once you really get motivated. good luck!! also eating something whether it be apple, carrots, a salad with very little dressing, low cal or low fat yogurt every 2-3 hours will keep your metabolism higher through out the day and you will loose weight faster and you will not feel overly hungry and it keeps you from overeating in one sitting; just a few tips that helped me loose 20 lbs.

I am 14 myself and I will help! So if you have opportunities to go swimming, GO SWIMMING! It is the best and I swim on a swim team for 2 hours a day. Try to get around 65 laps (that's about a mile on a 25 meter pool) If you cannot swim you can actually lose weight watching TV. Find a position that you feel a burning in you muscles. I neel on my knees and lift my feet as close to my butt as I can. It does help a lot. Now, for you arm. You can doing arm circles which I do. Try to do it for 10 straight which will build up a lot of muscle and burn fat. It might hurt and if you can't do it at first don't worry. Repeat that everyday, it oks if you don't for a day or two. Also, you can try to diet with taking out all of the unhealthy food but come on, food tastes really good! Do have some bad stuff. Try this stuff and I Hope it helps you!!!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Drink lots of water. As often as you can, have a glass of water in your hand and sip on it. Also, try doing a few simple aerobic exercises in the morning because when you exercise in the morning, you have time to feed your growing muscles during the day. Plus, it is better to exercise in the morning rather than at night because exercising before you go to bed can keep you from getting a good night's sleep, which is necessary when building muscles. Don't get discouraged if you gain weight when you start to exercise. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat. It's true!

Eat less and exercise more. That's the key!

You should exercise at least 30 minutes a day an hour is even better, walking is ok, you don't have to run.
You should drink plenty of water, before, during and after exercising.

Increase your metabolism by EATING healthy food and EXERCISING!
You should eat at least 10 portions of veggies and fruit , yes at least 10 you are still growing!
you should have at least 4 portions of low fat dairy products, 1/2 cup of cottage cheeze is one portion, 1 cup of milk is one portion etc.
If you eat meat try to avoid fat meats, you should eat at least 5 portions of grains (one slice of whole wheat bread is 1 portion, so is 3/4 cups of corn flakes)
Cut down on fats but don't avoid it completely, or you'll feel deprived and crabby!
