That is fine because the average female needs 2000 calories a day so cutting it by 600 is fine.

1400 calories a day is not acceptable for your age and if you get any exercise or play any sports during the day you need extra calories to be healthy. Don't forget that if you get too few calories, your body will think it's starving and will hang on to every calorie and fat gram it can and will actually make you GAIN weight over time. You may lose some weight at first, but you'll never be able to keep it off if you're not eating enough for your age and activity level. According to calculations, even if you got none to very little exercise at all, your caloric requirement based on your age and stats alone is over 1800 calories per day.

1400 calories is a bit light. Even though you are probably done growing, you don't want to deprive your body of important nutrients. So I would suggest 1500 to 1600 calories a day.

I;m guessing by your user name you play sports? And do athletic things, so you need to consume enough calories so you have energy left for those things I wouldn't start so drastic and kind of work your wa to where your comfortable and eating enough to be full. I'd start with 1,700 and work your way down but with your weight you don;t have to go crazy because your not overweight, work it down to what you feel you feel best at both emotionally and phisically, but I wouldn't go lower than 1400 cals. Good Luck!

A teenage girl should eat 2100 to 2400 calories per day. You may not be losing weight because your metabolism is low (your productivity in burning fat). Eat Stallone Protein puddings in the morning, 100 calories, 20g protein, 4g carbs, and exercise to raise ur metabolism! hope this works! email me w/ ?s if any
