For women, abs begin to show at 15% bodyfat.
For men, abs begin to show at 10% bodyfat.
To get etched, women have to go down to around 12%.
Men have to go down to around 7%.
More than 75% of your results will come from DIET.
You can do ab exercises all day long and they won't show if you have bodyfat above those percentages.
Reduce your calories. It's the DIET and keep training!
Here's a good abs website.

I believe it relies on the individual lol... There in general is not one proper option to reply this. As so much as I can not deny that the six-p.C. Is appealing, when you would not have a high-quality character that goes with it the appeal is absolutely temporary. Flat stomach or beer stomach is most often the identical. Even though women will say that a man with a killer body is good looking (which is true), we will turn out to be picking the person that has the guts, the excellent persona, the brain, the honesty, and many others... Before because the man with the six-p.C..... In case you have all those qualities and a six-% well vigour to you lol... But ya, i guess my reply summed up would be that each woman has their own preference and that finally the connection with a purpose to final won't be headquartered on a six-% or something of the variety... Hope this helps

I have very poor technique with sit ups so i stick mostly to other things. I try most of the lying down exercises. Lie down on your back and put you hands under you lower back or butt. Lift your feet a few inches off the ground and hold for a minute while contracting your abdomen. Or, while lying down, do this and do a flutter kick (up and down) rapidly with your feet. This creates great tone. These or the bicycle on the ground if you know what that is.

1-Lie flat on your back and with your back remaining on the groud lift both legs to a 90 degree angle then come down to the ground without touching and repeat
2-Situp on the ground with your arms palm down on the ground besides you and feet off the ground. Then stretch your legs remaining off the ground lifting your hand up temporarilly as you stretch
3-lie completely on the ground. Hold you body in various angles between 0-90 for 30 seconds each position
4-lie completely straight on your side with your legs criss-cossed. Have the arm closest to the ground at 90 degrees from your body. Lift your body up with that arm as though you were being lifted by a crane at your waiste
Let me know if you want more suggestions but these will do the trick
Start with 20 reps, Then rotate to another excercise, try to do the same excercise 3 rounds as you mix in the different routines. Each week add a few more reps. Once you hit the pain and exhaustion threshhold trying pushing yourself to do a few more and you will condition your body.
Don't forget to drink plenty of water, no joke, do it, DO IT NOW!
Alright Hans and Frans, Good Luck ;-)

You need to do sit-ups the right way. It's not just sit up and sit down 250 times. Has no effect.
What you do is range from 25-50 a day. When you are about to come up on a sit up, try to flex your abdominal muscles, you'll feel the burn believe me after 10 or 15. Exhale going up, inhale going back down. :)

Walk over to the nearest gas station and pay the man. You gotta have ID though. But seriously, you need to decrease your body fat percentage so the muscles can show through.
