I would say yes. This just happened to me and I am pregnant (5 weeks). If your test showed any sign of blue that means it detected HCG (the pregnancy hormone. I suggest you take another test and if it still comes up positive, make an appointment with your doctor for a blood test. Good luck!

Tests can and do lie. They can read positive and be wrong. They can read negative and be wrong. My daughter had a false positive. My sister tested negative the whole pregnancy even in the delivery room.
The spotting a week after your period stopped can happen. It is not abnormal. If you happen to skip next month or continue spotting, I suggest seeing a doctor.
Most likely you are not pregnant!

It sound like you may have been pregnant and your body wasn't ready for this so it ended the pregnancy and self aborted. I don't really like that abort word, but it makes more sense, in other words you had a miscarriage. You are still spotting is not a good sign. Why don't you get in to see the doctor. You might need a DNC or something, or the baby might actually still be there and need some help.

if u left the preg test too long it can sometimes show a false positive.I think they say after 15-20 minutes after the test it starts reacting differently and can show a false positive. Woman can bleed and still be preg. U could have had a very early miscarriage. This happened to me. I did test a bled 3 days later. dr said i was miscarrying. It started light than got heavy. I woul suggest going to dr for a blood test or wait til u stop bleeding and do another teat. Goodluck

I would take a pregnancy test to find out. Go to the Doctor for a blood test. Good luck.

No one can tell you if you are preggers or not, hon.
Just keep taking the tests, and the less you stress over the situation, the better for you and your baby. I got pregnant 11 months after one of my kids, and I never had a period in between, or anything. Sometimes our bodies are just determined to do whatever.
Good luck!

Go to the Dr. You could be pregnant, sometimes, you can have a period and be pregnant. It could also be a cyst, which can produce pregnancy symptoms and positive tests.

If you are on the pill, the test could be a false reading as there are pregnancy hormones in the pill. Spotting can also occur on the pill. But please dont take my word for it, see a doctor instead.
