dont they realize its mean and animals feel pain just as much as us it gets me very angry!!!

Are you talking about leathal injection? If so...here's my answer...
1.) There are places called "no kill" shelters. They claim they are saving animals lives, when in all actuality, they are ruining them. These poor animals are left in cages for the REST of their LIVES. Because people think it is "mean" to kill unwanted animals, these poor souls are being tortured by living in solitude.
2.) As much as we hate the thought, these animals are uthinized using a needle (most of the time, anyway). They are not being hit over the head or getting their throats slashed. They are getting a shot and slipping off to sleep. It is far more humane than letting them rot in some "no kill" shelter.
Just my opinion.

That is just the type of world we live in. I assume your talking about dogs and cats? Well chickens, cows and pigs would like to live as much as those dogs at the pound.
Animals are treated the way they are because our society as a whole have no value on the lives of the animals in our care.
As an ex animal control officer I can tell you some really cruel things people of all financial and racial backgrounds have done to their animals. It was truly amazing.
Not to mention how we treat the animals raised for us to eat. It is horrible.
And labratory animals is a whole different subject.

If people would take care fo their pets and spay and neuter them we would save thousands of animals every year. There are so many stray and diseased animals that we can't save them all, take a Tylenol PM don't loose any sleep over it and get on with your life or you can become an animal hoarder whatever you wanna do man.

It is terrible and one of my life's goals is to help shelter animals. What about all the animals that are born and raised just to be slaughtered to be eaten? They are killed in-humanely and painfully. Very sad.....
