Please star this is you find it interesting:

1. Religeon has caused much evil to be spread, many heinous acts have been commited in the name of the church, and by proxy god. ( ex : crusades, forced poverty, the dark ages, )

2. Religeon has cause much good to be spread, from curtailing barbaric practices of genital mutalation to spreading news of the world / new cultures due to missionary work.

3. Faith has caused much evil, for without a wise tradition to follow faith can lead to cultism and cruely in the name of faith, ( ex Jonestown, helter skelter, )

4. Faith has caused much good From careing about others in countries that share your faith, to doing good works, without payment.

So the query : - Which has brought more good? Faith or Religeon, which has brought more evil Religeon or Faith?

*note my spelling is bad please don't bother telling me this*

Where did you get your history?

1) Crusades, Witch hunts, Inquisition - all commited by less than 2% of the Christian population world-wide. Death tolls number 800,000 over the course of 20 centuries (including acts of war). That compared to 180,000,000 murders comitted by atheist regimes in less than half a century.

The Crusades were defensive acts - the Turks had already taken the Middle East, Asia Minor, North Africa, Spain, and southern France before the Europeans decided to react.

The Dark Ages?!?!? The Dark Ages were caused by mass invasions of Germanic pagans. Christianity was the only beacon of light in western Europe from 500 to 800 Ad.

Religion and faith inseparable. That is a purely semantic argument.

Religion is a separation of Church's and rituals honoring Jesus. Faith is that which we believe in what we cannot see, therefore there are rewards. Jesus said, "Blessed is he who believes and has not seen."

Religion and Faith do not bring evil. Evil enters on the backs of men, when doubt and unbelief rein in his life. It also depends on who we choose to keep company with and what their beliefs are. Each person is different, and if you poll them, you'd have a different answer from everyone. Make sense? Hope this helped.

Religions are evil b/c they don't speak the truth. Serving God isn't about song and dance. Its about doing everything the Bible say's and becoming perfect. Only in America ppl don't know Jesus is a black man and the real Jews are black ppl.(also Hispanics and native Americans) Only in America ppl think they can be a Christian and the bible is for them(whites, Asians,Africans-anyone else not black/hisp/ Native American.)
Only in America - well in this case the world would they support a "religion of child rapist and sodomite/lesbian leaders. America is the cesspool of religious ignorance- the great beast of lies and religion is at the heart of it.

I don't think the point is what is 'bad' or 'good'..or what is 'fair'...the only thing that matters is what the evidence points to to be real when trying to recognize reality from fiction.

Unfortunately, I find a huge lack of evidence supporting the whole god thing. :( Whether I want it to be so, or not.
