When I microwave multiple hot dogs for a short amount of time, they singe, turn wrinkly and turn a lighter color where they touch each other.

When I microwave multiple hot dogs for a longer amount of time, they actually blacken where they touch each other.

hotter at the tips, maybe, so it causes it to be hotter while they touch eachother thus burning eachother, jsut a thought though

I microwave multiple hot dogs all the time, and I have NEVER had them burn where they touch each other.

Maybe I have been lucky.
