Hi!

As a child, I loved "Ants on a Log". This is celery sticks filled with peanut butter and topped with raisins.

P.S. -- For children with a peanut allergy, you can substitute the peanut butter with cream cheese.

Best Wishes...
T.

Snacks I usually see in my lunch room::

- gushers

- koolaid

- oreos

- cookies

- fritos, doritos, cheezits, potato chips, ect.

- gummy snacks (gummy bears, gummy worms, fruit snacks <-- claimed to be "good" for you)

- Fruit by the foot, fruit rollups

Healthy Alternatives:

- carrots & ranch dip

- yogurt (not the kind with m&ms in the top that you mix in)

- strawberries

- Apple with peanut butter

- Sliced bananas

- Fruit leather (Like fruit rollups, but made from real fruit, and taste great! In my opinion at least, coming from a 14 year old.)
You can get them in healthfood stores or, where I found them, weiss.

That's all I can really think of right now. I hope I helped!

I can't help with the most popular snacks because that would depend on what part of the world you live. But some healthy snacks would be

1. carrot or celery sticks or any vegetable.

2. bit of fruit like apples, oranges, banana, raisins, grapes.

Click on www.womenshelp.net. On the best exercise page they have a link to a beef jerky site. Me and my kids get this stuff all the time. They love the turkey jerky. But the site is good because it has other healthy food as well. Hope you like it
