smallest one car is 14' x 22', smallest two car is 18' x 22', what you want is more room so. one car 16'x24, two car 22'x25'

There isn't really a standard size attached garage. Many builders limit the square footage of garages to minimize their costs or the expense of those who have larger vehicles. On the homes that I build, I prefer to have at least a 22' wide (w/an 18' wide overhead door) by 23' deep. My personal garage is 22'w x 25' d.

24' square is your standard 2 car garage.

I don't know it there are any "standard" measurements. Plus it would depend on if you want a single or double, triple, etc. If you are getting ready to build one though, make it as BIG as you possibly can!! If it's like our's it will be so full of "stuff" in no time that you won't be able to fit any cars in it anyway!LOL
