It is way better to put it in warm water (not hot)! Microwaving is bad because it kills all the beneficial ingredients in it and it changes the chemical makeup of it. That's what a neighbor that was a bee keeper told us.

You can decrystallize honey by microwaving it or by putting the container in a hot water bath. It should be just fine. I would guess that molasses works the same way, but since I never use the stuff I wouldn't know with any authority.

Honey is God's perfect food, high energy, good sugar and it never spoils. Just warm it, if you don't have a microwave, just put the jar in hot water and wam the water so the honey will re-melt. Molassas will do the same. Enjoy!!
