well i asked her out and she said i'll think about it and then after a week her friends told me she said no. But after that whole thing she began to be really shy around me and we don't really talk anymore. she looks at me alot during class and turns away when i look. did she say no to hide that she liked me? also i got a friend to talk to her and she said she wanted to talk to me. i'm kinda confused now. she also threw a ball up piece of paper at me then turned around quickly.this all happened like a month ago but she still does all the things i listed and theres a dance in two days. what should i do?

you should try to have a one-on-one conversation with her and ask why she's been acting like that and her problems as well.maybe by then you'll be able to find out what's wrong.i wish you good luck on it.

Call her and invite her... unless it's a formal dance. It would be kind of rude to ask her with this short of notice to a formal dance...
But if it's a casual dance, just call her up, ask if she's planning to go, if she'd like to go with you.
This going through other people- all it does is confuse everyone. Go straight to the source and just talk to her...

looks like she doesnt like u and its awkward around you. either that or she just likes the attention. ask her to the dance and if she says no, forget about her. get on with your life
