What are you trying to gain by running away? You are an ungrateful girl for trying to this to your grandparents, you should be glad that they gave you a roof over your head and were there for you when you needed someone to take care of you, and this is the way you are going to pay them? What kind of a boyfriend do you have, that would let you do this without any consideration for your Grandparents. If you do decide to leave with him, there will always be problems between you two. you better reconsider and have a talk with your grandparents and tell them what it is that they are doing wrong, with you. You do not say how old you are, but I am betting you are under age, if you decide to go, the police will bring you back to where you belong and if your grandparents say that they cannot control you,you will be removed from their house to a foster home.

Any boyfriend who is encouraging you to run away with him is a bad guy, because running away in most cases, is never a good thing to do. You seem to be young, so therefore your grandparents will find you. Give Grandma and Grandpa a chance, if its an abusive household then tell a trusted adult. But if it is because your grandparentals don't like your bf, then you need to stand in their shoes and think about why they don't like him, they are a lot wiser than you are. Be smart, running away is not.
