Yes you can. Just make sure that you fill out the right forms because you also have to send in a report to the IRS of every 1099 that you report as income or non-employee income for another individual. Office Depot have a complete pack of those 1099 forms that include the form that you send in to the IRS with the total amount. Or for free just go to the IRS and pick up copies of those forms to submit.
