Hi !!!!
That is what they claim, but "BUYER BEWARE".

Q: What is Tab Energy?
A: While Tab Energy shares the Tab brand name, it is not a cola. It is a completely new energy drink created especially for women. The deliciously crisp and lightly carbonated pink beverage is sugar-free, with only five calories per 10.5 ounce can.
Q: Will it replace regular Tab?
A: No, the launch of Tab Energy, a completely new energy drink, will have no impact on the availability of Tab the diet cola.
Q: If Tab Energy doesn’t taste like Tab, why call it Tab Energy?
A: The Tab brand has been built on qualities like its uniqueness, its taste, low calories, beauty and style. We believe our new energy drink embodies all of these qualities as well, so it made sense to name it Tab Energy.
Q: Are you concerned about consumers confusing the two brands?
A: We work hard to minimize consumer confusion by creating distinctive packaging graphics, brand communication, and marketing support that all work to differentiate our brands. We believe the differences between Tab Energy and Tab diet cola will be easily understood by our consumers.
Q: When will Tab Energy be available?
A: Tab Energy will hit store shelves in February 2006.
Q: Where can I buy Tab Energy?
A: Tab Energy will be available in a variety of retail locations including convenience stores, grocery stores and other locations.
Q: Why are you launching Tab Energy?
A: Through our ongoing dialog with consumers, we believe there is an opportunity to introduce a completely new energy drink created especially for women.

tab is the diet soda of the 80's bringing it as an energy drink is a whole ploy on giving it to the late 30's and on people who drank tab back in the day, they are giving in on the whole energy drink fad which is what tab was in the first place
