God wouldn't ask that question. He knows why I would be let in. I've read my Bible, I know what it says to do to be saved, I qualify, therefore, my name would be written in blood in the Book of Life.

That works on the assumption that all theists believe in a human-like God and a heaven where only certain people get to go, which some of us don't believe that. If I died and a "God" asked me to give him a good reason why I'm worthy of his presence (which is essentially what this question means) - I wouldn't find him worthy of the title God. So I'd probably tell him to bite me.

I'd say: "Because You created me, and I am part of You, and You love me, and because I have finished my time on earth, and have done the best I could do with the means and understanding I had, and I'm tired, and I want to come home." Then God would say "Just kidding! Get in here and give me a hug!"

I will say "there is no reason for you to let me into your heaven, whatever yo decide to do with my soul, I will accept it"

I wouldn't say anything - I would open my heart and let Him see Christ and His sacrificial blood that was applied there.

I would say, " Am I good enough to be here ? I pray that I am, but only You know that for sure."
