None. If you "crash diet" you'll just regain everything when you go off it.

Best bet is *still* proper nutrition and exercise.

No such thing as a good crash diet. What you need to do is eat healthier, reduce the amount of food you eat at meal time and drink loads of water and get more exercise. You can lose a pound a week and keep it off with good eating habits. I tried loosing 10 pounds for the past 10 years. I found the only thing that worked is everything I mentioned above. Crash diets are just a temporary solution. You may find that you gain more weight afterwards.

Ack! There is none!

But, if you are willing to do an intensive diet, why not start today with proper nutrition and regularly scheduled exercise?

And, yes, the weight comes right back after a crash diet because you do not change the habits that had you gain weight in the first place.

Crash diets aren't a good idea. You lose mostly water weight, starving yourself makes your metabolism shut down so you don't burn as many calories as you normally would, and results don't last long at all because you'll put the weight right back on when you resume your old eating habits. The only way to lose weight for any length of time is to change your lifestyle... cut out fatty processed foods as much as you can, eat more veggies, and exercise. A crash diet will make you miserable for as long as you keep it up, you won't lose much weight, and it'll screw up your metabolism for a while.

none...

rapid weight loss equates to a decrease in water, lean body mass and very little fat loss. mostly likely when you come off your diet several months after that you will weigh more than you do now.
