Satan and his demons have one objective, and that is to destroy anything that pleases God. If they can get a believer to start to doubt and to turn from God that is a victory for Satan.

Just because I'm atheist and Buddhist does NOT mean I "don't like Christians or religion". Most of my replies in here are done with the intent of benefit, and therefore no harm is intended, but I've studied religions well enough to be of some help to those with serious questions. I think you're painting us all with WAY too broad a brush my friend...

If it were the christian section of answers, you'd have a point, but it's the religion and spirituality section, ALL religions, or lack of religions. Plus, athiests usually ask christians questions because if they've put enough thought into deciding there is no god, they obviously are interested enough in the subject to begin with, and love a good debate.

"If you don't like Christians, then don't go into a Christian Forum or religious Yahoo Question and Answers category."
I won't even try to explain the whole spirituality thing...this one isn't gonna get it no matter how hard I try!

I've read the Bible. 20 times, cover to cover, including the seven Martin Luther removed despite them having been in there for over 1000 years by that point.
I am at war only with Christianity and Islam. They are unique in that they are the only religions that have an injunction to convert the world -- all others are happy to co-exist.
Most of the others are pretty cool. See, Christianity isn't the only religion out there, and every so often, questions get asked about other religions.
I also understand the Bible and if someone asks a Christian question in a respectful and inquisitive manner, I will usually answer as courteously as I can in keeping with the teachings of the Bible since that is the source the person uses. I've also answered respectful questions asked by muslims, and gotten best answer for them.
So, hm. Do us a favor. That speck in our eyes you seem concerned about? How about you remove that plank from yours?

The public is allowed on this site which incidentally was not created as a forum for your viewpoint only. This site was also not created for proselytizing which is exactly what you are doing. Nobody is trying to get you to do anything. I suggest, however, that if you want to talk only to Christians, you could find a Christian site. Now remember, I said that only as a suggestion.

If you don't like cults why are you in the religious section. All religions are cults anyway. You Christians are so wrapped up in your cocoon of ignorance. You don't understand anything. You are too damn afraid if you dare to think you will lose your little piece of la la land of eternity. BB

This is not a Christian forum, not even a religious forum. Who are you to judge self-spirituality? Many view religion as a tool furthering one from spiritual goals. In the Dharma religions, spirituality is complete enlightenment of self.
