I have a ton of favorite quotes, but my favorite of the week is:

"Imagination is stronger than knowledge,
myth is more potent than history,
dreams are more powerful than facts,
hope always triumphs over experience,
laughter is the cure for grief,
and love is stronger than death."

When you read it...it just gives you a little motivation. =)
And I agree with the person who said 'The Road Not Taken', by Robert Frost. That's probably one of the best poems out there.

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leafs a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

OKAY, I HAVE A LOT: HERE GOES!

SONGS:

AND NOW HE'S BOUND FOR A GLORY-
He walked all over his green and growing land,
from the New York Islands to the California Sand,
he saw all the people that needed to be seen,
planeted all the grass where there needed to be green,
and now he's bound for a glory all his own, and now he's bound for a glory

he wrote and he sang and he rode upon our rails,
and he got on board when the sailors had to sail,
he said all the words that needed to be said,
fed all the hungry souls that needed to be fed,
and now he's bound for a glory all his own, and now he's bound for a glory

he sang in our streets and he sang in our halls,
and he was alway there when the unions gave a call,
he did all the deeds that needed to be done,
he always stood his ground when a smaller men would run,
and now he's bound for a glory all his own, and now he's bound for a glory

and it's PASTURES OF PLENTY wrode the dustbowl balladeer,
and THIS LAND IS YOUR LAND he wanted us to hear,
and the rising of the unions will be sung about again,
the DEEPORTESS live on through the power of his pen,
and now he's bound for a glory all his own, and now he's bound for a glory

now they sing out his praises on every distant shore,
but so few remember what he was fightin' for,
oh why sing the songs and forget about their aim?
he wrote them for a reason, why not sing them for the same? and now he's bound for a glory all his own, and now he's bound for a glory

POWER AND THE GLORY-
come on and take a walk with me throught this green and growing land,
walk through the meadows and the mountains and the sand,
walk through the rivers and the valleys and the plains,
walk through the sun and walk through the rain,
for here is a land without power and glory,
beauty the words cannot reacall,
call her power shall rest on the strenght of her freedom,
glory shall rest on us all,
yet she's only as rich as the poorest of the poor,
only as free as a padlock prison door,
only as strong as our love for this land,
only as tall as we stand!
for here is a land without power and glory,
beauty that words cannot reacll,
call her power shall rest on the strenght of freedom,
glory shall rest on us all, on us all

I AIN'T A MARCHIN' ANYMORE-
Oh I marched to the battle of New Orleans
At the end of the early British war
The young land started growing
The young blood started flowing
But I ain't marchin' anymore

For I've killed my share of Indians
In a thousand different fights
I was there at the Little Big Horn
I heard many men lying
I saw many more dying
But I ain't marchin' anymore

It's always the old to lead us to the war
It's always the young to fall
Now look at all we've won with the sabre and the gun
Tell me is it worth it all

For I stole California from the Mexican land
Fought in the bloody Civil War
Yes I even killed my brother
And so many others
And I ain't marchin' anymore

For I marched to the battles of the German trench
In a war that was bound to end all wars
Oh I must have killed a million men
And now they want me back again
But I ain't marchin' anymore

For I flew the final mission in the Japanese sky
Set off the mighty mushroom roar
When I saw the cities burning
I knew that I was learning
That I ain't marchin' anymore

Now the labor leader's screamin' when they close the missile plants,
United Fruit screams at the Cuban shore,
Call it "Peace" or call it "Treason,"
Call it "Love" or call it "Reason,"
But I ain't marchin' any more

2 other songs i like are:
CHANGES
WHEN I'M GONE

go to 'google' and type in 'phil ochs lyrics' and you can find them in there
