Have you ever just given up on life.? I mean completly. You dont care what happens to you because you think the worst has already happened and you just stop trying. If so how did you get over it.?

So you think the worst has already happened...

Is every single person you've ever loved and cared about dead and gone?

Is there no chance that you will ever meet another person that you will love and care about?

Is there no chance that you will ever take part in an activity that makes you happy ever again?

Are you homeless?

Are you starving with no chance of finding food?

Do you have a painful, disfiguring disease?

Can you honestly say that there is no one in this world who cares about you?

I could keep going, but I think you get the point. I'm going to guess that you didn't answer yes to all of these questions. So guess what? The worst has not happened.

Try looking at your life differently. Stop focusing on what you don't like about it and instead think about what you want your life to be like.

Then start taking little steps to make your life into what you want it to be. It might never be perfect, but keep focusing on what you like about your life and one day you just might wake up happy.

If your sadness is due to an event like losing someone you love or getting poor health, then try talking to a professional, your family doctor can recommend one. Since I don't know the problem I'm not sure what the answer should be. I was there when my husband left for another woman, I was pretty miserable for quite a while, I started going to activities at a Unity Church, it was really good and I met people with similar problems and it helped a lot. I also prayed although I wasn't particularly religious.
I did the best I could and eventually things got better. I hope you feel better soon.

This happened to me just today. Me and my friends got into fights with eachother. I was done with everything. Try writing in a journal or talking to a friend instead of making a mistake and doing something crazy or irrevirsable. To cool off, try taking a nice, hot bath or reading a book. Or you could just lay on your bed and stare up at the ceiling and think things over. Take deep, even breaths to keep yourself calm, cool, and collected. I had a long talk with my friends to let them know how I was feeling so we could work things out. I'm sorry if this isn't what you were looking for in an answer.

ohhh big time. big time. I have Bipolar disorder, and i am always feeling up and down to the extreme. i have said screw it i want to die anyway and did what ever i wanted and didnt care. now because im still alive i have to spend all my time picking up the pieces and placing them back together because i grew up and realized how much life does really have to offer. there is an entire world waiting to be taken on. you can do whatever you want to if you make the effort. so what im saying is dont give up, just start making changes.

Focus on the good in your life ... a child? a boyfriend? ... make short term goals that you can achieve. Always know that things can and usually do get better with time. Take care of your spiritual self through attending a good church.
