I am HIGHLY allergic to fish (not shell fish, just regular fish.) Am I alleric to shark as well?

I go straight into anaphylactic shock if I come into contact with fish but am fine eating shell fish (shrimp, lobster, crab.) Would shark make me sick too?

I would recommend you have a blood test at your allergy Dr. they can specifically test ige levels for shark and anything else. Shark is fish, I have this test done 1/yr and test for new stuff all the time as I go anaphylactic also
