I didn't have any problems with iTunes (7) until I installed some software from Verizon Wireless which was supposed to sync my music to my cell phone. It didn't work so I stoped using it.

Now all of a sudden everytime I open iTunes, there are no songs listed in my library and I have the generic playlists. It keeps deleting my stuff.

Fortunently I have some data file saved to restore my playlists and songs however it's insane to keep running this file, which takes forever to load, everytime I open iTunes!

I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, but i still have this problem...please someone help!

[edit] I unstalled the Verizon Software. However, I took another look around and found there was a driver I forgot to uninstall. Thanks for the help =) [/edit]

Why not uninstall "Verizon Wireless"

You stated you don't use it but if you have not got rid of it it could still cause the problem.

uninstall the verizon wireless sync music thingy....

then reinstall iTunes...

if that doesn't work, call up someone at MacLife (the apple store) or email their customer service people.... they r really helpful and will totally try to fix the problem!! mayb ur computer has something wrong w/ its software?

you're able to desire to create a library that holds precisely what you want on your ipod and phone is "ipod." That way once you upload or delete products from that library your ipod could have the comparable music as that library.
