On the Dolphin side, I understand the University of Eastern Slobovick's Marine Biology department has been working on a project to teach Dolphins to say "I am NOT a Tuna" in japanese...
Meanwhile, DARPA has been supporting a project called Operation Acting, where they are trying to teach whales how to pass themselves off as a submarine on sonar...The project is being headed by Professor Jon Lovitz, of the Akron school of Acting and Marine Biology.
