Ok, so I hang around my dad's friends and coffeeshops where they play good music etc., and other nice places like that a lot(not too many parties, etc. with my friends who are my own age) and I was just wondering---why is it that I'm so attracted to the older, more mature guys out there? I've had lotsa crushes on older guys-not just crushes but they've gotten close to me as friends and more and well, sometimes I just really want them! I know it's weird, and that's why I'm asking this question: Why do the older guys fish for me and why do I take their bait?!? It drives me crazy!

First off people need to stop hating! You are not a tramp! Look at Demi and Ashton. Look at Tom and Katie! etc..... These days it is more acceptable to have a relationship with an older person, or younger person. Guys and girls mature differently. Guys mature slower than girls, it is a fact. This is probably why you are attracted to older men. It depends on how old you are to act upon this. If you are 18+..... it will be ok to. Under that, it is a no no. When I was 19, a guy who was 31 liked me. I didn't pursue this because he wanted different things than I wanted. Now I am 22 and my husband is 28. We are on the same page, and our marriage is good. It depends where in life you are, and where in life they are. You need to figure all of this out before you consider pursuing anything. Goodluck.

I am with a guy 18 years my senior, it's nice. He's really good to me and we never run out of stuff to talk about. There are obstacles that you will have to overcome w/ an older man though. My kids are 14 AND 19, his are grown, that is a definate adjustment. If yout think you may want kids some day, you are going to have to ask yourself if that's a chance you want to take as many older men don't want kids since theirs are grown or they never had any. Other than that, older men are great! They are mature, they don't "play" around and they are usually very loyal. I have been in two loving relationships with older men and they have both been wonderful. Good Luck!

An older man may treat you with more respect, and you may enjoy the conversation. The age difference is not so critical by the time you are in your late twenties or early thirties. But now, it is. As an older guy, I enjoy looking at an attractive young girl, but that's where it has to stop. Be careful. Don't tease. It's a good idea to keep your distance.

This is the story of my life seriously. I always hung around older men in my teens + beyond and am still attracted to men who are older than me to this day. Older guys always like younger women for various reasons, and your probably like me, you tend to like the older guys because they are more mature and generally more intelligent. I think it is a good thing

I think older men are more mature and sophisticated. I am not sure how much older you are talking about, but I am married to a guy 12 years older than me for 7 years now. They have it going on. Believe me.

Because they treat you better then the kids....I always was atracted to older man like about 20 years older but in a very good shape...Now in my 36 I like my age only...All I believe because I was atracted to mature males thats olde but it will go away...So is normal to like them...Sometimes they much better then the young guys...

older guys are defo more mature...it's what you are attracted to...and they have more experience which is sexy
but try to stick with your age group. it will help in the future. trust me.

I think the fact that they are more experienced and know how to treat a lady. Also so you don't waste your time with younger boys who aren't yet men.
