I had heard the government had information regarding the dates of everyone's birth and death.

According to findyourfate.com I will live till July 19, 2080. That is too long, I'll kill myself doing something stupid before that.

The most reliable information for your (approximate) date of death would come from an actuarial working for a life insurance company. It pays them to know!

well, now they have your date of birth, and when you will die they will also have your date of death, but now you could not know that,( don't worry, you will know when you die)
