Hi,

That depends on a few factors; How old you are, how much weight you weigh, how healthy you eat. (eating Chocolate, Soda and fast food all of the time will make you unhealthy) What I'm trying to tell you is that they are two separated thinks. Looking back to when I was in high school I was not healthy. But I was able to run the mile in 5:20. I have never smoked in my life, but I did not take vitamins and did not eat well.

Um, your in good shape. Are you healthy? That is a much more difficult question. There are a variety of serious and even life-threatening health problems a person could have that would not automatically affect their ability to run. For example: AIDS, diabetes, high blood pressure, early kidney disease, increased cholesterol, and even cancer just to name a few.

cardiovascular performance is only one aspect of being healthy. I've seen people with 30% body fat complete a 26 mile marathon and they are surely not healthy.
