How old is she? It sounds as though she is going into heat. You should take her to the vet and have her spayed as soon as possible - otherwise every tomcat in the neighborhood is going to be prowling in your backyard!
Getting your kitty fixed is important, as there are far too many homeless, abandoned cats in the world.

She may be in pain. Is it a nice meow or a louder MEOWWLLL? I would suggest a visit to the vet.

If she's about 6 months old, she's in heat. Get her spayed: It will save you BOTH a LOT of trouble!

Definitely heat. Get her to a vet as soon as it is over and get that taken care of. You don't want to go through that again. And please do NOT let her go outside until she is fixed.

maybe you`re holding her too much or not holding her at the right time. she tend to meow and wiggle when she doen`t like to be held. the more you ignore them. the closer they would get to you. that`s how cats are.

Maybe she sees him as the dominant one, animals in the wild usually have a leader and followers so maybe your kitty thinks he is king of the jungle lol

she is in heat and she needs to be spayed as soon as the heat is finished and hopefully you will be able to get some rest tonight because she may start howling as well
