It depends on the person. Some people hate any tattoos due to personal or religious convictions (The last guy I was seeing for instance).
Some times it is just a matter of where and what the tattoo is of.
Of course even if the person strongly dislikes tattoos they might make an exception for you if they care about you enough to give it a go.
I am a strong beliver that a person should not do (or in this case not do) something JUST to suit their mate.
If a tattoo would hold a deep meaning for you and it is something that you have wanted for a long time then go with it.

I have a couple of tattoos, but just being completely honest, I prefer women with no tattoos. And if they have them, the smallest they are the better. I think women are beautiful as they are ( I don't even like make up too much) so there is no need to destroy that natural beauty. I would say about 90 %-95 % of guys that I know prefer women with no tattoos.
Also tattoos in general can be good indicators of how easy a girl is (at least to most guys), specially the lower back tattoo

Some are, some aren't. I dated one guy and ended up breaking up with him very early on because he didn't like tattoos and I have 2 of them. I've dated guys that love tattoos and get very turned on by a woman with tattoos, and I've dated guys that were completely indifferent one way or the other. I know that there are some men out there with very strong feelings on the subject, but most guys that I know really don't care. If they really like a girl, whether or not she has a tattoo really doesn't mean much.

I think if the tattoo is visually appealing and it's put on a sexy part of the body like your lower back or your ankle then it's generally a turn on for alot of men. Some men think that all tattoos are disgusting but they are the uptight guys...

it all depends on the particular guy some men really take to a nice little tattoo but all men are different so some may be others may not it's all on seperate tastes!

Depends on the man and where you tattoo's are. My man loves tattoos, but he has them also. Some guys like a couple, other's like lots, and some don't like them at all. I suggest getting a couple in areas you can always cover up. I don't think any guy would have a problem with that.

It would depend on the guy and what kind of tattoo you get. cuz sometimes a guy may get offended by what you get, or maybe get disgusted by it. Just think about what your getting.

If you get "Property of Hell's Angels MC" on your butt, you may scare off a few guys.
Seriously, though, if your ink is an expression of who you are and what you've lived through (as opposed to a drunken dare by your drunken friends or spontaneously pointing to a piece of flash on the studio wall and saying, "ooh, that one's cute!"), then it's going to be a non-issue. I've wondered the same thing myself, though. . .after each of my four most recent tattoos.
