3500 might equal a pound lost but there is really no way to lose all fat without losing some muscle. If you aren't doing weight-lifting, for each pound you lose about 65% of it is muscle and 35% of it is fat. If you do light weight-lifting along with cardio and dieting then you could lose about 40% muscle and 60% fat. There is no way to lose only fat without losing some muscle too...
