Should I work out before I have eaten, or after I have had one or two meals?

The concept that you should workout pre meal is pure crap. I know it's a popular one, but it's utterly wrong.

You should always have something in your system before you workout, and you should workout when you have the most energy too.

If this is the morning, great, just eat breakfast and wait a little bit before anything too vigorous. Afternoon, perfectly fine as well (my personal time). Right before bed? I wouldn't. Exercise raises your heart rate and kicks hormones into your system that would be best if your not asleep for.

Workout when you feel best, that's the golden rule.

It doesn't really matter when you work out. There is no evidence to support what time works best. If you work out late in the evening though, you might not be able to get to sleep as well.

Mornings work best for me, simply because that's when I feel like it most. It just an opionin thing. Work out when you are most likely to stick with it.

Good luck!

I was always under the impresion that you should work out before your meal because after you work out you metabolism is working fast and you'll burn calories faster.
