universal tv remotes?

I need the code for a 15 inch Tru Tech lcd tv remote control. Its made in china and distributed by alco electronics in canada. The remote stopped and I bought a universal but after hours trying to program it to no avail ,I need help .Please Thanks

This is a very common question, but nobody seems to be reading past answers.

There is no such a thing as a "universal" code for a TV that applies to ALL universal remotes.
Each universal remote supports its own database. Some remotes have 3-digit codes, some 4-digit, etc. They usually support the most popular models since it is impossible or very expensive to support all of them.
Call Tru Tech and ask for a replacement.
