With the drivers they have now, I'd say never.

Well, there is no way they are going to win it this year. They are already struggling which is expected of any new company in NASCAR. However, they have some veteran drivers and crews that will give them great insight in the NASCAR world so, they might win 1 race this year.
Next year they will probably win 1 or 2 races, but their main problem right now is the fact that they don't have great drivers. They have good drivers, but not great drivers. However, they have the money so I'd say in three years they'll start pulling some great drivers into their camp.
Which leads me to believe they could win the 500 in 2010, however I think they'll get edged out in that one, so I look for them to win their first 500 in 2011.
Now, lets see who is the best psychic. lol Because in this sport you never know.

Definitely not this year. No more than 5 years down the road before they take the checkers at Daytona.

If it comes down to fuel mileage at the end of the race...I'd say Toyota will have a 500 win within 3 years.

Don't be surprised if they run very very ,good very soon. Just take a look at the Craftsman Truck races. They dominated, and I suppose the cup cars will use the same engines, or a close facsimile.

These other posts must not be watching the practice sessions so far. Dave Blaney is running very strong, was 5th fastest in practice, is good at plate racing and has the team , Bill Davis Racing, to pull it off possibly this year. You never know, i doubt it but in plate racing ANYBODY can win.

I think next year, they need a year to work out the kinks. But possibly this year if all runs smooth will have to wait a few more weeks and see

The year that we all stop watching! When Honda,BMW,Saab,Mercedes all decide they can play too. Get it back to the REAL CARS,The ones who stared it!!!!! Shoot maybe I'll make my own to race run by electricity will I have time to charge it???
